Last updated: 21/7/2026
Welcome to Tribe2Home. These terms explain how the platform works and what we expect from each other. By using Tribe2Home, you agree to them. We have kept the language plain on purpose. Please read it.
Tribe2Home Pty Ltd (ABN 52 853 913 598) operates the platform. In these terms, we, us, and Tribe2Home mean the company. You means anyone using the platform.
1. What Tribe2Home is
Tribe2Home is a platform that helps NDIS participants find compatible housemates and homes, and connects them with service providers when they choose to.
We are an independent, neutral platform. We are not a SIL or SDA service provider, a support coordinator, or a housing provider. We do not provide accommodation, supports, or services ourselves. We help people find and connect with each other. The decisions are always yours.
2. Who can use Tribe2Home
You can use Tribe2Home if you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement, or if you are acting for a participant with the proper authority and their consent.
If you are using Tribe2Home on behalf of someone else as a support coordinator, family member, or guardian, you confirm you have the authority and consent to do so, and to provide their information.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your login secure. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account. Do not share your account with anyone who is not authorised to use it.
4. For participants
Tribe2Home is free for participants, support coordinators, families, and chosen support people.
Always.
You control your profile, what you share, and who you connect with. We will never introduce you to a service provider or share your profile without your consent.
5. For service providers
If you are a SIL or SDA service provider, the following also applies:
- You must complete an Expression of Interest and pass our vetting process before you are approved.
- Subscription fees, billing, and cancellation terms are set out in your subscription agreement.
- You must keep your organisation, property, and vacancy information accurate and current.
- You must comply with the NDIS Practice Standards and all laws that apply to you.
- You must only contact participants who have chosen to connect with you, and you must respect their consent and privacy at all times.
6. Compatibility
Tribe2Home suggests compatible housemates, tribes, and homes using a mix of technology, including AI assisted models, and human compatibility specialists. These suggestions are based on the information provided. They are suggestions only.
We do not guarantee that any suggestion will result in a successful connection, a tenancy, or a long term living arrangement. Choosing housemates, homes, and service providers is your decision, and you are responsible for your own choices. We recommend you do your own checks before making any commitment.
7. How you must behave
Use Tribe2Home respectfully and honestly. You must not:
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Harass, abuse, or discriminate against anyone.
- Share someone else's information without their consent.
- Use the platform for anything unlawful.
- Try to break, misuse, or gain unauthorised access to the platform.
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools without our written permission.
We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
8. Content you share
You keep ownership of the information and content you put on Tribe2Home. By sharing it, you give us permission to use it as needed to run the platform and provide the service to you. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to share whatever you upload.
9. Our intellectual property
The Tribe2Home platform, brand, and content belong to us or our licensors. You can use the platform as intended, but you cannot copy, resell, or reuse our material without permission.
10. Privacy
How we handle your information is covered in our Privacy Policy. By using Tribe2Home, you agree to that policy.
11. Things we cannot promise
We work hard to keep Tribe2Home running well, but we provide the platform as is. We do not guarantee it will always be available, error free, or suited to a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that results from using the platform, from connections or arrangements made through it, or from the conduct of other users. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
12. Ending your access
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we need to for legal or safety reasons. Some terms continue to apply after your account ends, such as the sections on liability and intellectual property.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will let you know. Continuing to use Tribe2Home after a change means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and Tribe2Home agree the courts of New South Wales can hear any dispute, but this does not stop you bringing a claim in the courts where you live. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
